Do you think that the Virginia Tech shooting victims need more gun control?

Do you think that the Virginia Tech shooting victims need more gun control?Do you think that the Virginia Tech shooting victims need more gun control?
Your question makes no sense. The shooting victims are either dead or seriously hurt and in the hospital. Why would THEY need more stringent gun control laws?Do you think that the Virginia Tech shooting victims need more gun control?
What bothered me is that the shooter was over here on a work visa or special school visa, so he isn't an American citizen. Aliens can go out and buy guns without a waiting period. That blew my mind! The rest of us who are US citizens have to fill out all kinds of paperwork and wait for three days before getting the gun.How does it make sense to let non citizens have that priveledge and not even our own people. Our world has become a scary place and you can't feel totally secure anywhere anymore.
Shooter was non-american. You ban gun ownership and only felons have them. This was a horrible incident. Best thing is he killed himself, if you believe in christianity, he is definitly doomed. Either way his *** is gone. I feel so bad for those kids parents.

This was just a nut job hopefully. I dont have room in my life to hate another race.
Ok virginia Tech should never had guns. Also I'm starting to think maybe that they need metal dectors and more security.

Dude please be sure that your question makes sense.
Gun control causes crime. Gun control has never worked anywhere so why cite it as a solution? Gun control is for Stalin and Hitler, not free Americans.

I think it was a tragedy first and foremost and my thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and their families.

The killer alone caused the crime, but the high number of victims is directly caused by gun control. The Virginia Tech killer never registered his gun, so why cite registration as a solution?

They were just sitting ducks with no way to defend themselves much like the victims of Colin Ferguson. Concealed-carry advocates warned us all long ago to expect tragedies like this as long as we have gun control.

When only criminals have guns the rest of us can only ponder tactics like ';notifications.';

In a state where concealed-carry is allowed or promoted, the loss of life could have been much less. He may have shot one or two, but a concealed-carrier would have dispatched him right quick.

Sadly there is no way to prevent a killer with a gun. In tribal Africa where there are no manufactured guns, tribesman make them from pipes and rubber-bands so clearly gun control is not the answer. You can make a gun out of wood in an hour! He could have stabbed just as many with a knife.

Since you will never stop the OFFENSE, we must allow ourselves a DEFENSE. We are not all of one culture anymore, so violence will only increase.

HB 1572 was a Virginia state bill to allow college students to carry arms on campus to protect themselves from tragedies like what happened at Virginia Tech. The bill was defeated

The spokesman for Virginia Tech was happy to hear the bill [HB 1572] was defeated. ';I'm sure the university community is appreciative of the General Assembly's actions because this will help parents, students, faculty and visitors feel safe on our campus.';

The fact is NOT passing the bill allowing students to defend themselves caused many more deaths. States that pass concealed-carry laws experience lower crime rates, Texas is a good example of this.

The only way to prevent these killing rampages is concealed-carry. Would you rather protect yourself or wait for the folly of police or school ';notification?”
I think the shooting was crazy i mean people were to shocked to even knock the gun out the guy's hand but the collage could have prevented to shooting by getting the student help when one of the teachers went to the head person in charge and told him what she think needed to be done to help the community but as you know the that person said it wasn't that serious. Come on now when a student writes his name in blood on his paper and writes about crazy thing that has to be a sign of crazy. And a sign that that student needs some help like NOW!!!!!!!!!!! And then come on for those 2 hours he was shooting a video you can even tell how crazy he was being on those video's. He killed 32 people plus his self and injured 9 people. The reason why he was so tense was because former classmates use to bully him, they mocked his shyness, and the strange way he talked. He was also mad because his girlfriend broke up with him.
No, they obviously needed guns of their own.
No. If those 32 people had been armed (or maybe even one of them), they might all be alive today. It would not have made a difference to that guy if guns were illegal. My son was murdered by three people using baseball bats. If they outlaw baseball bats, I might get on the gun control band wagon. But, then again, I won't. If my son had a permit to carry, he would be alive today.
I think Homeland Security needs to think about 'open' borders. This shooter was on temporary status here and shouldn't have gotten a gun so easily.

However, it can't be an excuse to detract another Constitutional right. This would be another gain for theNWO.
you are not asking the question properly. if i understand you... and i may not but,.... if you are asking that because of the shooting incident should we have stricter laws regarding guns.... the answer is still NO hands down. if they get the guns out of our hands it will be like Nazi Germany in 2.3 seconds flat and Jesus will then return my friend you can bet...
